For the video, we see what Young’s college days might have looked like as he returns to the pitching mound at Ole Miss’ Swayze Field. The video plays on the word “Catch,” involving Young as a pitcher catching feelings for a beautiful woman.
In the time-hopping video, we see a young Brett falling in love while on the university baseball team, exchanging glances with his girl in the crowd during a game, sharing lunches, and reading on Ole Miss’ lush lawns. Flash forward to modern-day Brett looking out at Swayze Field, reflecting on his time in college, and playing catch with his son. An emotional journey based on Young’s real-life experience with sports injury, the “Catch” music video offers his fans a peek into his world.
